Without a doubt, sayings and proverbs are an important part of Mexican culture. They can be funny, wise, cheeky or sad. The pieces of this collection take their inspiration from some of the hundreds of examples that make up this rich oral tradition. Surely, many of us know and use these phrases in our daily lives.

This collection has been on display at the 7th Expo Patchwork & Quilt Mexico City 2015 and The Festival of Quilts in Birmingham, England (2015).
